Howdy

I\'ve got two OMP lines, one of which I broke due to being an idiot. It had a black sheath around it, which I assume is a heat shield. The other one I\'ve got doesn\'t have the black shield. Is it important?

Cheers

I\'d say it\'s important yeah being as the pipe is pretty much the only thing keeping the apex seals lubricated !!
Personally i\'d invest in some new braided lines which are available (can\'t remember where to get them from, anyone?)

I think rx7store in the US have the braided ones.

Go braided lines mate, its the only way forward. The old plastic ones are prone to splitting and breaking and if they do that means one or both of your rotor housings will not be getting lubed properly.
Phone Ross at Dragon Performance as he can have the lines custom made for you and they are not that expensive.
