Yes, indeed - the keratine treated hair survived the day and is still straight. who do I thank for giving us good weather after all?  :D

Ann: we all went the wrong way at least once, in my case several times!!  LOL  it\'s all part of the fun.

Sorry guys I decided not to do the Sprint Circuit,as didn\'t want to loose Tyre Tread,as can\'t afford new tyres at the moment, seeing I have bought a new car :2Rolleyes

It was nice just relaxing under the Gazebo, chatting during the afternoon & finding out things etc........ :Giggle

Left Rotorstock just after 4pm as had 2.5hr drive home & a early start at work this morning :(

I did drive up to see how things were going before driving home & saw one of Paul\'s lap\'s :)

Superb day out; many thanks & congratulations to Clive and Lisa for organsing this event (again!). I loved the new format with the sprint circuit.

Even better that I managed to keep my the leader board throughout the day!

Nigel, as we proved during our runs, the quickest way round was to drive very, very smoothly. Doubt if any noticeable tread was lost on a few 45 second runs if you drove this way. You should have had a go, it really was massive fun.

I didn\'t have any tread on my tyres to start with :)

Apparently I needed to get far more temp in them to get the best performance.  Still it was good fun!

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

Really just what all the others have said. reasonable weather (well it didn\'t rain much and the sun came out a few times) The sprint track was great and of my three runs I didn\'t get it right even once. :Giggle

The route I took was even more demanding as it involved a 180 around an oil drum. :wiggle Wish I had gotten on the circuit in the morning as by the afternoon session the world and his wife were there queueing up.:Grrr

Robbie was always odds on to win as he drove smoothly and the FI gave the smooth delivery of extra oommph when needed. The 8\'s were always in the running, even the N/A cars of Malcolm, Will, etc. were besting those trying too hard. Paul was only handicapped by driving my car and Crissy posted respectable times also :Thumbsup! (just leave braking a bit later).  But then who am I to talk, as I didn\'t even post a halfway respectable time. :spank

The drive home along the A507 was more to my liking except for the tractors. :Grrr

Like Crissy spent most of my time at the sprint circuit and so did not get to spend too much time other than with the usual crowd. (You know who you are). Thanks to all for the organisation and if anyone can find a suitably large area of smooth tarmac I am sure that we can steal, sorry borrow, sufficient cones and some emulsion to mark out our own circuit.   :3gears-rh
Sadly no longer with us, RIP Ray, 9 Feb 2021

Was great watching you guys in to morning. Did get on in the Afternoon but the FB isn\'t very quick. Was well chuffed with my 46.41 on the last chance single lap (2nd time out)

That\'s the 507 for you - and if it\'s not tractors it\'s lorries crossing over between the A1 and M1.

I thought you\'d sold your RX-8 Tony - or is this another one?

You missed a great day and you would have loved some of the topics of conversation - in fact were your ears burning?? :Giggle

yeah, I was pleased with my times, especially because during my last lap in the afternoon I went round almost 2 seconds quicker than my best lap in the morning  :chat

wish I could have gone round many more times and I have been looking around for areas of smooth tarmac that we could use but no such things available thanks to health and safety, licencing, insurance, etc.  :(

One suggestion.... so that you can retain the title next year - maybe you should do something to make the Rex stand out a little more from the crowd.:Giggle
