Hi

Sorry if there is a thread on this already, if so and it is useful, please let me know.

I am after some new suspension, as the aftermarket combo i have is too low and way too hard.
I have been looking around at what is best, it was a choice between Ohlins and Aragosta.
I found reviews on both and they said that really both were very similar, but the Aragosta maybe abit hard on some UK roads and brakes get a hammering becuase of it.

I have spoken to Miguel from Newera and some other people to get their thoughts, i know that Miguel had the Ohlins on his car, so he has had experience with them. I also know the Ohlins as standard are slightly softer sprung.

I am after comfort and handling, i will be mainly doing long drives and a few track days.

If anyone has had any experience or thoughts on these, i would be interested to here them.

Thanks

i would have a look at nitrons, ive tried a few types and these are soo much better and they are made for you so you can spec your own rates, also they are made in england so if you do have any probs they can sort it no probs, i had 450lb-500lb springs but have gone to 500-550lb now and still drives smooth (even with the harder springs it feel better than cheap kits with softer spring rates, they do a couple off different types.

I will echo the advice above ^^^

We are the main stockists of Nitrons here in the UK, and have now fitted them to 7 cars with great success.

You have plenty of choices from a single to a triple adjustable set up.  Tend to use 600/800 lb springs on the car.

Our own cars are running triples with Eibach springs.

I have run with Ohlin and Penske and having driven a car on the Nitrons see no reason to spend the extra cash.  They are based locally to us, they are able to repair broken shocks very quickly and with little extra cost, and their customer service is fantastic.

Drop me an email and I will chat further with you.
