Additonal injectors

Guy\'s I am doing a single turbo conversion and wondered if the following would be possible or has been tried?
Instead of buying some larger secondary injectors would it be possible to add in a second secondary fuel rail mounted on the UIM for instance and piggy back the wiring of the injectors from the stock secodary injector plugs. Then in my apexi ECU tell it I am running 1700cc secondary injectors?

Anyone? theory sounds good!

You can add tertiary injectiors, they are usually located on the compression tube like this on the Re-A:

It would be interesting if you could fool the ECU into thinking about having a larger secondaries by putting in 4 smaller injectors though

Hi i may have something of interest, I bought a plenum with 4 extra injector ports on it, but my plans have changed. its a nice bit of kit for extra fueling, I can send you some pics if your interested. you could also plum in wi as well

Please send me some pics and info. I have a spare plenum and injector rails I was going to play with.

Thanks M1tch - I know about the normal additional injector route.. but that requires a control unit correct?

My theory was to elliminate a control unit.. the cost of huge injectors and the potential of needing an aftermarket fuel rail.
I am really keen to know if this has been tried or if anyone believes it to be possible?! Plus I like to be different!

That looks similar to what I am on about but are those not after market injectors? Are they wired directly to the stock secondary injectors and if so please elaborate on the ECU side of it and whether you had to do anything else clever in the wiring or plumbing?

Pip at wgt did it was 1st time he had tried that method,twin 550\'s so ended up with 1400 secondaries & standard primaries,presume wired directly into secondaries,remapped apexi ecu (plus fitted walbro pump to cope with fueling) ,never had any problems even on strip never failed (well walbro did lasted 40 miles from wgt was faulty replaced no problem)

Cool. So I may have almost come up with a good idea first!

If a few more people can backup my theory then maybe I wil have a play around!
