HKS Twin Power Info

no i dont have one for sale :Tongue1
but just wondering if anyone knows the differance between the \'DLI II\' and the \'Rotary\' twin power?

The \'rotary\' one said its for 13b engine range (fc & fc)
The \'DLI II\' is for RX8 & subapoo & evo

would the \'DLI II\' work on a fc / fd?
(assuming the harness would have to be modified)

why not just get the rotary version in the first place for the FC rather then buying the DLII and modifying it? or am I missing something here lol

im guessint the fd and fc dont have integrated igniters and
coils?

im nt a fan of ebay.. plug the one i can get is on the happier side of grinder friendly price

FC has igniters on the coil packs - they are the metal box under the black plastic coil. When fitting ignition boxes like the Crane Cams, you unwire the small orange/black leads on top of the coil and tape them off (not together), connecting your CDI onto these instead.

so DLI II will work but will need to fiddle around with the wires..?
unless you can find the corrext looms / harness?

I doubt you will find a ready made loom for the FC for any of the HKS units, FD yes but FC no.

i guess if i dont go WI then the twin power is not as urgent.. just means no crazy power figures!

but i guess i should be concentrating on getting my fc back on the road 1st!! lol

me again.. just wondering if anyone knows if the HKS Twin Power harness for fd will fit fc? or will it need some cutting to fit?
