hello. Just noticed tonight that boosting is not right i dont think.
eg... 3rd gear rolling at 2000rpm full throttle boost goes to 10-11PSI then when i reach just short of 5000rpm i get a boost spike of 13PSI then the 2nd turbo comes in... then suddenly drops to 8PSI untill i hit redline. Im not driving full boost now i think theres a problem ive done it a coupple of times and it does the same thing.

Also sometimes when i change gear suddenly from 2nd to 3rd after about 6PSI of boost i get the BURRRRRR noise from the engine and no turbo.. i have to change gear to get my turbo back. But that only happens now and again.
please help :( problem after problem at the moment :(
Car is running standard ECU. NO de-cat. 2 HKS filters and standard intercooler.

Thank you.

Mine was doing the same and done my head in for nearly a year before i bought my pfc took it to pip and let a pro sort it. He said it was boost creep caused by a too much free flow through the exhaust.

He had me back on the road with the decat and pfc and a monster smile in 2hrs

All i had was a standard ecu but with hks filters and a nur spec back box.

The fault was with the factory ecu mate not being able to cope with the above mods.

I know what with the credit crunch etc now may not be the time but you need a pfc really mate, otherwise for a quick fix put a restrictor in your exhaust system maybe.

Perhaps check the error codes to see what it throws up?

Now that is a good question as my car always did it fresh from the running in period?
