Hi,

What is the difference between a BOV & CRV?

Is it possible to use a aftermarket BOV to upgrade the CRV?

Cheers Garith.

The BOV is used to release theboost pressure from the intake system between gear changer or when you let off the power, the CRV (Charge Relief Valve) only works for about 500 rpm when the second turbo is spooling up between 4000rpm & 4500rpm when the boost is allowd in to the intake system! it\'s part of the prespool system so you don\'t get any turbo lag when the 2n\'d turbo comes online!

I personaly wouldn\'t bother changing it from the stock unit!

Thanks Jono,

In that case i have a HKS supersonic BOV & a Blitz super sound BOV, Which in peoples opinion is the best one

Cheers Garith.

HKS one sounds like a bottle of budgies under the bonnet, the Blitz one sounds like Darth Vader on the vinegar strokes! Whichever you prefer, I guess :Giggle

i have the blitz and i think it sounds great i had the hks on my pulsar that was nice aswell but i prefer the blitz for some reason

yep, but if your going to be running big boost the HKS is better as the boost pressure acutaly forces a better seal so you don\'t get any leakage! I\'ve got the HKS SSQV and must say it sounds awsome!! but to be honest it\'s up to you mate
