Performing Open-Heart rx-7 surgery, anyting else to check before i close??

sorry about the long title, i needed to grab attention!
right, i have been having a boost issue for some time now, so the time has come to sort it all out. if i drive the car hard i will either get a jolt of boost at about 4-5k or it will go flat as if there is no boost.
what i have done so far i stripped most bits off the engine and changed the vacuum hoses and checked he one way valves. whilst its all stripped down, im changing the turbo\'s because the seals are knackered. i am also removing the air pump, air con and installing a boost guage and hard pipes.
does anybody know what might give the boost symptoms that i am having or would any body know what else to check before i start to re-assemble the car??

Sounds like a lazy solenoid to me, To test these you need a mittivac or a little diy test rig. I know some members on here have made their own.
 
Rob (bobbit) on here know\'s all about this, infact there may also be a sticky about his solenoid test.

cool i think i have seen this before, which solenoids and where are they situated in the engine bay exactly
