Got any links regarding the MR2 OC threads.  If you take a look at some of the threads regarding the above linked group buy you\'ll find that a lot of work has gone into them to elevate the quality above the dodgy H4 HID upgrades that seem to be rife.  There\'s no guarantee they\'ll pass an MOT (how could there be?), however they do discuss how the European standards much wider beam pattern) we have are much better than they have in the US (essentially two individual spots) and they\'ve often try to use imported E marked halogens as upgrades for their cars in the past.

Worst case scenario is that its the best of a bad bunch.

I believe that they consistently utterly fail to pass an MOT, for what that\'s worth. They also look completely ridiculous, but that\'s just my humble opinion :3Confused

Except that they\'re proper projectors with a proper hi/low beam pattern just like you get OEM in BMWs etc.

They\'re not HID bulbs fitted into reflector housings which is what come up on ebay all the time.

Why would they fail an MOT?

Looks, well who gives a crap, they\'re for driving at night when noone sees them ;)
