I have been looking into this for my last couple of shifts and finally finished it last night. The main hard work was getting all the measurements spot on as it had to fit in perfectly and due to the c piller angles this was far from straight forward. Also i wanted a solid brace instead of the two piece types which join in the middle and tension up by screwing the two pieces apart, With a single one you can increase the tension while also ensuring it sits perfectly central.

Its made from subsea grade stainless steel which uses a tiny thin sidewall so its fairly light and also very very strong,

Anyhoo here it my fd C pillar brace

Cater-pillar???? :Tongue1

I\'ve always thought that the A pillars are the ones that support the windscreen, the B pillars the ones that separate the front doors from the back doors and the C pillars, the ones that support the rear glass.
I think that in a FD it should be called the C pillar as there are not back doors.
