Hey guys, im just thinking of how to get rid of heat soak with my top mounted intercooler, I was thinking to put 1 of those slim fans on it, such as on the eletric fan radiator mod.

I was thinking of putting it on the top, or onto the bonnet but that would be restrictive, I then though that as there isn\'t much under the intercooler apart from the vac rack I could put one under there?

This would then be set to suck air from the top, though the intercooler and out the bottom lowering the temperature.

I was just wondering if this would make much restriction when it was switched off? Im guessing when moving along the air flow will be much greater and will cool the intercooler down as far as it would go?

Just thinking if its a good idea or not, the core is 10", and you can get slim 7" fans.

I doubt very much that you will get a fan under there, also where is it going to blow to? more likey hit the top of the engine and bounce back up? Good idea though and one defo worth doing on a V mount or even FMIC setup if temps are a problem.
Do you suffer with high temps with your setup? I run totally unrestricted, chipped ECU etc etc and with a TMIC and never really seem to suffer with any of that, mind you i\'m not looking at it all the time to notice. My stock gauge just sits half way and does not move regardless, maybe i might start to take more note in the orange cab as that has a seperate digital gauge. It\'ll probably get me paranoid about it all.
