New seats

I am starting to look into some new seats for my fd but getting confused with what to buy as far as the mounting kits go.
 
Will the available sidemount kits fit into the oe holes or will i need to drill/tap them to suit
 
Also with the usual bottom mount type kits again do you have to order a model specific rail as most seem to be a universal fitting.
 
even the top spec seats (recaro profi/spg etc) down to the budget cobra seats the mounting options seem very unclear to me.
