Suspension, Brakes & Tyre purchase time

Hi all..

Well after finally deciding to keep my FD and modify what I have rather than buy a ready built track car I now need some parts.

The car will remain road legal but will be solely for the track.

The engine is fine for now (has power fc / FMIC / Apexi exhaust / Airfilter etc) so im not going to spend anything there.

First things first i need some new suspension..What im thinking of going with are Tein Mono flex but am open to ideas ..Opinions on these for the track?.

Brakes: Ive had a flick around but am still undecided on this..I want to keep the standard calipers for now so am after front & rear discs & pads only..Remember it is for the track but still has to be driven there so none that need 2 laps to warm up lol...Im going to replace the brake lines with braided hoses..

Tyres : not had much of a chance to look in to these yet..Im going to keep my original 17inch bbs alloys (currently has: front - 235/45 & rears 255/40).
Ill get the alloys refurbed but need some nice new sticky rubber to go on them.Must be road legal but not bothered if there crap in wet.


Anyone got any ideas on what to for on any of the above?...Or even any vendors can you do a package deal on the bits i want?..

Ha im all excited now i love ordering parts :driving:driving...Hurry hurry as i want to get them fitted and get on the track :wiggle

For not much more then tein monoflex you can get quantums possibly the best suspension availible.
Discs i\'m not sure but i can recommend project mu pads.

We supply Nitron suspension.  Best value shocks, in our opinion, on the market.  The single adjustable units are £1245  They are the sport range that Nitron excel in, ideal for occasional track use and fast road.  We have double and triple adjustable shocks in stock too....but probably not quite where you are going.
 
Depends how hard you drive on a track, but we offer big brake kits for the front and rears.  Along with a custom pedal box that is ideally suited to the brakes.
