Odometer stopped working?

I have an FD3 (1993). I was coming home the other day and noticed my odometer was not working.. the digital display was not there although the backlighting was.. Aslo the speedo was still working fine.. When I stopped in some traffic it came back on momentarily and then hasn\'t worked since?? Has the speedo packed up or is it a dodgy connection or fuse or something?

This sounds like one of the plugs that go directly into the back of the dash loseing a good connection,

I have the feeling that if you give the wiring a wiggle it will come back on, if so long term it could do with coming apart but that\'s up to you,
