well out driving a minute ago and some **** left a whole wheel and tyre in the middle of the dual carraige way, i hit it straight on at about 60 and it;s ripped the front splitter and undertray off. from what i can see there is a small piece of metal just right of the right wheel that seems to have sheered away(from what i don\'t know its just jagged). the odd thing is that i drove it home real slow and the only problem seemed to be a slight stiffness in the turning and a very slight pull to the left.

what i really want to know is it best to just take it to my local mazda dealer( newbury) and let them check it out or some kind of specialist

any help is much appreciated, ill try and take some photo\'s tomorrow :( :( :reallymad

undertray & presumably front splitter aren\'t OTT expensive so i shouldn\'t worry too much if that is only damage although still inevitable a bitter pill to have to swalow http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008\' target=\'_blank\'>http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_6_3.gif\' border=0>
Dunno about whose best to go to in your area although i guess if it is just thos ebits then it doesn\'t need to be anyone too gifted although if it\'s now pulling to the side like it wasnt b4 it suggests wheels aren\'t pointing in the correct way they may of been before so maybe worth getting geometry etc rechecked....

well had a mate look at it last night and he reckons i\'ve bent and snaped the right hand side of the stabilizer bar and pushed it up closer to the steering tie rod.
He reckons its not that bad  and should be quit easy to sort, so fingers crossed

Had similar accident last year. Stock swaybar mounts got dented and they are known for breaking, so I replaced them with CWW (racing grade) swaybarmounts. I also had to replace both bushings holding in the swaybar. Swaybar end-links also bent and needed replacing.

How is your oil pan ?

Luckily you didnt hurt your AC condenser or radiator...

i think the oil pan is fine, no leaks or anything, just a shame i have to wait until Monday to get it sorted
