Hi, I\'m preparing to recieve my long awaited FC Turbo II, it\'s a 90 model with about 175.000km and a 85.000km engine in it. So engine wise I should be allright (I know who had it before)

anyway, here\'s what it looks like (sorry bout the picture, I didn\'t take it)

basically stock almost everywhere.

Anyway, I\'d like to upgrade it for a few reasons

1st. I\'m going to bring it to trackdays, mostly on nurburgring (so more like a road) but also other regular tracks
2nd. Well I know it can look better than that, Actually I\'d like it to look like in that movie, "speedmaster", not how it looks at the end with all the widebody kit, but how it looks in the middle of the movie, really "stock-ish" but not quite stock. Lowered, decent rims (not too large), clean "sporty" look.

So, I was wondering, since I come from honda, I don\'t know that much about what\'s what on rotary cars.

I don\'t have unlimited funds, so I\'m looking for a good "bang for the buck" here, but I\'d rather do nothing than do something that\'d harm the car\'s behaviour.

Allright, now here are my plans, tell me if they\'re good or not.

1st. Brakes, how do stock brakes perform ? I thought I\'d throw in brake pads, hi temp fluid and... I forgot the word in english, sorry, hoses ? correct me if I\'m wrong

2nd. Suspension. Here\'s the point where I don\'t quite know what to do. I thought I couldn\'t go wrong with Bilstein B6 + Eibach springs, but what else does exist and for how much ?

3rd. The tricky part, the wheels, First the tires, I\'m currently using Yokohama parada Spec II on my civic (15") they perform great and provide awesome grip. But how would the same tires perform on a heavier car ? some of you use them ? what should I expect, what should I go for for optimal grip (except semi slicks) ? I don\'t care bout tire wear, I want grip, and lots of it.

rims size ? should I stay in 16", should I go for 17" ? what would be the differences ? I believe the FC had 17\'s as an option.

rim\'s ET ? I want the rims to be a little more "on the outside" (again, excuse my english) I know some guy on the internet, a drifter, who uses ET10 rims, but that\'s a little too much for me, can I go for ET20 and be fine with it, or will I have problems of some sort ? some pics would help here.

I know I have lots of questions, but I really want this car to behave decently on track (and to look as cool as it could, without being F&F-ish, no thanks)

anyway, thanks for your input here !

the stock brakes are pretty awesome, get the best pads you can afford with some hi temp dot4 fluid, some braided hoses for the front.  ive actually just put brembos onto my fc http://www.ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=159011 , maybe add a slotted rotor and thats about it.

alot of people highly recomend konis and kyb suspension for good street/track use, king springs are pretty popular in aussie, ive been talking to a few speedway and v8 supercar guys who are moving away from eibachs. bilstein shocks modified into coilovers was gonna be my purchase but ened up buying silkroad coilovers instead.
the tein super street coilovers are a really good lower budget setup also.

id go with 17\'s, maybe find a "y" speed rated tyre as it will have a higher load rating and speed rating because of the stiffer sidewall
