ok just went to start the car for the first time in about a day and half and theres nothing. Immobilizer not working, not alarm. Turn the key and nothing happens at all. Now being the absolute genius that i am :D ive managed to concur that the car has a flat battery.

anyhu, im quite weary as to what could have caused this? last time i drove the car it was fine, not hic cups what so ever. Apart from me leaving some sort of silly light on and not noticing, is there anything that could have caused this?

cheers

I left the door on mine partly open by accident when I first got it. Well pushed the lock down and closed the door then walked away. Only to get woken up and told that There were lights on in my car. Unfortunately the little side lights on the inside of the door had come on as the door hadn\'t closed properly. If my interior light worked I might have realized but it doesn\'t. It was nothing a jump start didn\'t fix but I\'m always careful of doing it again now.

To run a battery that flat in only that short of time I would imagine something was left on.

Perhaps check that nothing is shorting the battery out ie something metal under the bonnet (or indeed the bonnet itself) touching the battery, otherwise it might be a short in say some wires for the stereo, I had this happen before, it slowly drained the battery cause of a short (which might explain why its ok normally with normal use with the alternator charging the battery but not after a few days)
