I have just got my car back from the paint shop and im half way through its single turbo conversion, I have not seen the car in about 6 months and over
this time I have developed some "paranoia" towards some of the work I have done to the engine!  So here goes, some experts oppinion would be good:

Problem:

Im having problems talking up one of the engine mount bolts in the plate...  this was a reconditioned plate, anyway to fix this, which does not mean ripping out the engine and a new rear plate?

Questions:

1) Replaced stock OMP lines with stainless steel lines with smaller I.D and they are longer than stock lines, I understand its a vacuum that sucks oil through, so will they still do as good job?

2) Does it matter that im not using stock hose for ATF cooler hose and coolant hoses, I used push on hose and jubilee from thinkauto, the only problem is they were slightly smaller diameter hose but i managed to get it over the connectors

3) Is it really nessaccary that I replace bolts/studs on things like gearbox/ppf?

4) Connecting fuel hose to bulkhead hard pipes - im using think auto push on hose + two jubilee clips either side of the raised bit on the pipe, I have read about kits for connecting up.. am I ok with what I have already done?

5) Do i need to do anything with the charchol cannister pipe?  I dont beleive i do?

6) I am lost for ideas on how to conect the turbo drain to the block, you can get the flange on the turbo side from himniracing, and I can have the hose made up from thinkauto.. but I dont know what to use on the engine block

7) I have used some liquid gasket for the block off plates.. good idea? or should I refresh all the gaskets?

8) Mounting the Pressure Regulator on the front of the plenum.. dangerous being too close to the alternator for leaks?

On the positive side, the engine is holding coolant under pressure, so I have done something right :)  which leads me to the concept of pressure testing the oil system.. is this possible?

Thanks for your help!
