failed the mot on...corrosion and emissions.

corrosion is gunna cost around 200 to sort and the emissions were twice what they should be.

on top of that i just forked out around 250 quid for new tyres which are amazing and around 100 for spark plugs and an uprated pannel filter (filter hasnt gone in yet).

im now not sure weather to get the car through the mot and just sell it, as its just had about 300pounds worth of exciting new stuff so it may be worth something. Dont see alot else that i can do tbh. :xconfused

so how much do you guys think a egi with 115000 miles, 50k on the rebuild, a full uprated exhaust system and all of the above is worth with a years mot and about 6 months tax is worth ? roughly?

ps. my pound sign doesnt seem to work lol

corrosion is gunna cost me about £200 to get fixed. Its on the sills/rear arches on both sides of the car.

i really dont know what to do. The car will be getting an mot, but im not sure weather to sell it or keep it....

I do really love the car but knowing its going to rust more and more is just off putting

get it fixed , the one weekend jack the car off the floor

get under it with a wire brush , scrub hell out of it , then underseal ( waxoyl ) it

i think my TII had the best part of 15 litres painted on it
