Cat Heat Light!?

Hey people.

A few weeks ago I had my cat replaced for a decat.

Then last night i heard something which sounded like a little piece of metal freely dragging underneath my car making a "tinkering" sound...

Then i think it fell off and then my HEAT light came on?!?!

Am I right in thinking that the cat sensor would just be tucked up somewhere by the garage when they fitted my decat and maybe its just fallen off???

Yep, you\'re spot on. Mines tucked away neatly under the car too.

OK so whats likely to be needed? a new sensor or something? surely it wasnt connected up because i have a decat so it was just a bit strange how the light came on suddenly!?

Could you not use another temp sensor or short the wires together?

you need to earth the sensor...this will extinguish the light...tucking up against body will achieve this...
Definately want it mate but the dog has just died so will be getting the missus a new dog for christmas....
Sounds like a good deal but will have to ask the dragon first.....  :flamed  :spank
