Cant get onto pfc on laptop 1993 3rd gen

:xconfusedCant get onto pfc on laptop 1993 3rd gen. it needs a password so i can only use the hand controller not the laptop. what can i do?
 
who can help reset his or will i have to buy a new pfc, arghhh

You need someone with the FC-Datalogit software to remove the password.

Cheers fish. does it have to be that exact software then? what if the guys dont use that software. can i get a demo downloaded and them use that on the pfc. also if they do use it how easy is it?

Ah right e o. If my pfc is bust can someone fix it. i have been told this may be the case as pip mapped it but couldnt access it on his laptop so had to use the hand controller on the remap. he had the datalogit software too.

In what way can\'t he access it? Sounds like it\'s fubar\'d then. If he mapped it in the first place, he must be able to access it.

sounds like the PFC has the map locked by a previous tuner, you can either reset the ECU to base map and start the map from scratch im afraid
