Quick question to everyone,
Does anyone know what differences there are between uk and jap fc?
im mainly interested in mechanical parts (ie engine bay area) as on the outside jap fc has diff side indicators, numberplate surround, ftp lens, wrong side indicator switch lol

prof, sadgoth n i have kinda figured out that the exhaust pipework is slightly bigger and has one less cat.

if anyone can add to this would be muchos gracias :cheers:Thumbs-up

Some of the relays are different, the ECU is different etc

You didn\'t have AWS either - which is interesting - and it was never fitted as your mounting studs were undrilled on the UIM (upper inlet manifold)

I\'ve noticed that on UK cars, the stock fuel pressure regulator had two vac lines on it - JDM and US models only seem to have one.

did any of the uk cars have adjustable suspension? I have yet to see one

main factor that no one has mentioned ... RUST !! LOL

ECU - i have a UK in my JDM and its fine
FTP - When you put the side lights on , the lights stay down and shine thru the FTP lense
FTP - when you flash the lights , the come up , flash and go down ( rather cool i have to admit )
Cat - there is no cat in the down pipe - just the middle one
Exhaust - i think its the same size ( diameter ) to be honest

mine came with a 180mph speedo - dont think the uk ones do

I dont think the indicator stalk on the other side is correct, the Cruise is on the left as you look at it and the indicators on the right.  This only changed I think on the US models.  Dont buy US sided wiper or light controls as they will not fit.

Some JDM models had red light up lenses in the rear quarter bumpers and I might have to agree with Stu on the exhaust thing but then after 20 years or so its had many exhaust replacements but pretty sure they are the same.

I am sure that only UK models had the vacuum thing next to the engine bay fuses and battery.  Intercooler as Prop said had less tappings on JDM. According to the book the wheel size are different in J size between Euro and \'except Euro\'

Idiots warning lights are different, UK one has fog light built in.
Not sure if the UK ones only came with the Heat warning light
Add coolant symbol different
Engine starting from cold is different (AWS)
lights and indicators already mentioned
Think UK only came with headlight squirters
On the heater control panel symbols are different

Cant remember any more.
Think MPH only went up to 160MPH and 260 in KMPH

The main thing is that most of the time there is less swearing as most things fall of the JDM cars and the UK cars you have to got to use a hammer!!!  Dam rust.
