Seriously though, that does seem to be shifting a lot of air for just at tickover, don\'t look right to me.

hahahhahahahahahah rustyrex mate!!! that was brilliant:] seriously just now (its midnight) after Nik da Greek explained it i started laughing so much that i woke my misses up !!:DDDD hahahah didnt get that at the first time - was thinking about some specific car slang or something :]

Nik da Greek thx for explanation (im still laughing tho!) :]

btw:

can someone have stock bov ? could someone please check it for me? as in i know the aftermarket - spring bov\'s shouldnt be doing it but what about the stock one?

Already answered this over on FDUk mate :)

But...

Checked my stock brown one earlier and does vent a little on idle although prob not as much as yours but i have checked this with the old mityvac and it is holding pressure as per the manual so guessing it\'s normal.  My Baileys BOV i have on normally also vents slightly at idle and i have no issues with boost etc....

but the thing with me mate is that i have a boost issues, i hit 14 psi without the fuel cut which tells me that my gauge doesnt read properly, when i start the engine niddle on the boost gauge is dancin up and down and im thinking that this little thing might be causing a problem...just trying to find out everything i can...

cheers

The only way to check mate really is to test the BOV to the manual....
