Well im very tempted to buy this RX7 http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/573125.htm

It looks in upmost condition and i dont think there could be a better example. Thing is i was originally thinking of getting a FD due to what i would expect to be better reliability.

How reliable are the FCs in n/a form. I will try and maintain it to the highest standard , im a bit of a rotary noob and wouldnt want to have to rebuild every  30k as it would be a daily driver. It may also undergo a spirited drive on occasion.

Fc\'s are alot more reliable due to the amount of power produced by the engine, and the non-turbo ones are even more reliable. This one may be a good example but 30-40k on a 20 year old engine can be bad. The non-turbo\'s have been known to last up to 200k and turbo fc\'s 175, tho averagely i would say they last for about 150k and 100k respectively.

The fd\'s are not know for reliability due to the engines going anywhere between 30-80k and the complicated twin turbo system.

At the end of the day it comes down to what you want, and how deep your pockets are
