Sadly the water seal is shot on my fc n/a & is to be rebuilt soon, have already be advise to put a FD flywheel on it whilst it is in bits was wondering if there are any other jobs/parts/mods that can be done to improve the old girl also if i can source them for good £ is it worth getting new injectors on her as they are leaking, thanks!?!

Prof

Rebuild time is always a good time to check hoses and the other ancillaries on the engine - plug leads, injectors, water pump, alternator, and so on - although your engine builder should check these for you and advise if any of them need replacement.

Very true & will be hopefully they will let me do a few jobs whilst they are busy on the engine, some places are bit funny bout you working in there workshop for insurance reasons. It\'s going to RE:Worx & from what i have heard most seemd to talk highly of them. I have heard of peolpe closing off ports on the 13b, is this true & what is to be gained from this?

Out of interest, whats the advantage of the FD flywheel?  Presume the counter weights are the same etc?

I think it\'s lighter than the FC one.

i always heard the clutch was one of the best things to replace, or at least the pilot bearing

\'91 FC TII - Drifter... Under construction :D
:burnout

Has had a new clutch on only 1000 miles ago, not sure bout the the bearing\'s thou will bere in mind, thanks.

antnicuk

a stock FD flywheel can be fitted to a turbo II but not an EGI, it has the wrong counter weight.  Also, i think the egi clutch is smaller than the TurboII/FD.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!
