Am I right that FC turbo MAF is different to n/a MAF, i am asking as i am wondering if they are able to work on a n/a as don\'t they come with a bigger inlet & it is round rather than rectangler, which would make it better for a induction kit (once i get a decent cold air intake sorted)??

With a stock ECU this may cause the ECU to go into limp mode however if you have something programable like an Apexi I would have thought this could well give a gain,
All the best Clive

What have you done to the rest of the engine to warrant the change?  (Out of interest)

Not a great deal, yet! But was just an idea for better air intake & thinking bout putting a induction kit on (as long as i can sort a decent cold air feed) but thout best to ask you guys who are much fimiliar with the engine before i dive into anything :)

TBH I\'m not sure what you will gain from this mod alone, if you are going to go for a full exhaust sytem from the ports, plus bigger ports etc then there will be a benefit.

Unless going for the above mods, (and have proof the stock airbox is costing you power) stick with a high flowing panel filter in the stock airbox :yes
