Just wondering what you guys are using with aftermarket seats for subframes.

I know cobra and sparco dont list any for a FD. I am putting in a Sparco fixed back and have a subframe for the car but looks like it wont fit to it. The other problem is I wont be able to move the seat back as I need it back as far as it will go.

Cheers

I\'m getting Bride\'s for mine. I know they are pricey, but i\'ve had their frames int he past and the fit and build is superb. They also usually sit nice and low.
Can\'t say about how far back they will go though - i guess a lot depends on the location of the bolt holes in the seats.

dont fancy paying their prices though lol

You seem to get what you pay for though - and remember, subframes are a safety item - they hold your seat in position, and also (think it\'s the case in an FD) the seatbelt mounting. It\'s not really somewhere i\'d want to scrimp.

Give it a week, and we will have some for sale.

We are just having our prototypes made as we chat now.  They will be ready in a couple of days, and then they will be made accordingly.

They are being designed to fit as low as possible and will accommodate plenty of adjustability

Ooooh, registering interest! what sort of price range are we talking, and both sides?

I use bride, i found the subframes not to bad money wise considering they\'re near perfect fit and still relatively good adjustability. I have a modified subframe about somewhere to fit a sparco but the set just about touches the door and you can\'t get the seat far enough back to be comfortable.

Managed to get a Recaro one now so hopefully all will be ok
