It looks alright but you do tend to get what you pay for.

Prof has an ASI rad, its epicly thick but it has leaked quite a bit since he has bought it around where the end caps meet the core. He has sealed it up though, I think the issue is the lack of quality control on some of them, so you might get a good one, you might not. I know profs ASI rad due it its sheer size has helped a look with cooling.

The 1st gen one I had broke in little time, although I don\'t know if I was at fault mounting the fan to the core !

Would always say you get what you pay for.

Going by Profs, buy a big tube of flexi chemical metal at the same time, seal all the way up where the core joins to the end tanks before fitting and try it!

Its worth bearing in mind that an engine is more expensive than a radiator,

Somebody said many many years ago "if you cook a rotary it will come back and bite you eventually " sadly its true because the rotary is no where near as resilient as a piston engine when it comes to cooking them due to no water in the system.
All the best Clive

Think I\'ll just give it a miss! Unless someone has a Koyo tucked away they want to give me on the cheap:)

My advice is to avoid it and go with the Koyo - the build quality is what you pay the extra for - and as Clive says, if you overheat the engine for the sake of £100, you\'re looking at the economics wrong.:rollin

The rad is proper thick though - shame the welding is so pants.

The thing is welding up small hole on it wouldn\'t be a problem. I\'ve got facilities at work for that. Its just the hastle of it blowing in use at some point. At the end of the day I don\'t want to be worried about if it\'ll hold up to the abuse it\'ll get. I mean that the only reason to replace the one thats on is so I know it\'ll cool my engine better than now. If its gonna blow and take out my engine then sod it!

Mine didn\'t go in a single spot. The whole of one side cracked !
