Front Offside Indicator not working

Hi,
I\'ve been trying to solve this problem for ages and turn to you for help !
 
Front offside indicator does not work. So the side and back indicators flash very quickly. Nearside indicators work correctly.
 
I swaped the offside bulb to the nearside indicator holder, bulb works.
 
I have checked the power to the live on the offside bulb holder and the earth, live has 12v and with the meter in the circuit my meter flashes at the correct speed in time with the side & back indicator.
 
Today I cut the bulb holder out of the loom and attached it directly to a 12v battery, bulb works !
 
So, in summary, power is getting to the bulb holder, the bulb illuminates with a seperate 12v source, but when wired back in the loom, it does not work !!! and attaching the meter again shows a 12v power supply.
 
Can anyone offer any advice. I\'m too frustrated to carry on.
