Feeling a little slughish

Im haveing a strange problem with the rex. i will put my foot down in 1st and 2nd and it will feel fecking quick like it should do, but some times it feels like its dosent want to rev. like its holding back or something. ive checked for boost leak\'s but this all look fine. it only happens in 1st and 2nd, as soon as i change in to 3rd it shoots off again.
 
also on a side note how do you bleed the power steering. ive got an air lock that i cant seam to get rid of.
