Afternoon all,

My rex is running on a nice set of Kei Office coilovers but they make a lovely knocking noise when I turn. Im not very good with suspension so I thought id put it to the experts ;)

Any Ideas??

Yeah I just fitted some Kei Office up front and got a knocking noise on slow full lock turns. All I did was jack it up and re-tighten the height adjustment nuts. Seems to have worked a treat. Just get under it and make sure nothing is loose.
I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

Check the bushes (unless it\'s got solid mounts)

also check the top mounts as well as this can cause some enoying knocks but usually when you go over bumps.  Does it do it over bumps? or just on full lock?  Sometimes its best to get the car on the ramps and get someone to turn the wheel so you can see everything moving from underneath.  Its amazing how so much of the suspension actually moves if its worn.

I believe they are solid mounts but i am not 100% sure. Im guna get it up on a ramp this weekend.

It doesnt knock when going over bumps but does on full lock, and some half turns.

Im replacing the spings soon anyway as the ones I have are way to hard for UK roads.

Can anyone recommened a size and make spring set that will be a nice smooth ride without affecting the handling to much. At the mo im shaking my car and myself to bits :-s
