Changing Seats which Sliders ??

Hi,
Thinking of changing my very tatty leather seats for some new bucket seats.
I understand I\'ll have to be careful regarding the measurements of the new seats to ensure they fit, however I\'m not sure what to do about the sliders.
 
Is it possible to fit the standard Mazda sliders to new seats ?, or should I use the seat companies universal sliders and adopt them to fit the Rex ?
 
Ideally I would prefer to keep the Mazda sliders, what\'s your experience ?

bride do RX7 specific seat rails, and the bolt pattern and spacing in exactly the same as the recaro spa/spg/apex seats. the seats themselves fit but hit the door trim a bit. nothing major though and can shut the doors.
