Hello.

This may be a stupid question, however I cannot get the front circular fog lights on my car to work. The button I presume is the one between seats, but they just don\'t turn on. Am I doing something wrong, or is there something I should be aware of???

Also, I have just read an excellent guide to fitting speakers. Just wondering if the door cards have to come off, or can I get away with just removing the speaker grill and working this way.

Oh, and one final thing. A couple of times recently, I have been sat stationary in traffic or moving slowly, when the speedo suddenly goes erratic, and heads off the scale, then back down again. This only happenned since I reconnected the drivers side speaker, which I found to be disconnected. Where should I begin my fault finding search, or should I just rewire the seakers (if this is the problem.)

Many Thanks.

The fog lights only work when your sidelights are on. If they still dont work check the obvious, fuse, relay, lamp units. To replace the speaker, you have to remove the door card. HTH

Speedo, or rev counter? If its the rev counter, there could be a dry connection in your alternator? The early RX7\'s had this, the revcounter was a voltmeter until the engine was started. Driving along mine (series 1) used to do this, when the alternator had failed. It shows the alternator is not charging the battery.
