The Heating works awesome but can\'t get the de-foggle vent(s) to work for the windshield.  Obviously not a good thing at this time of the year.

Started to take the car apart today and got the Heating matrix unit (almost out ) tried manually selecting the top dash vents on the heater.. but without any luck.

I could see the arm change positions based on selecting different setting on the heating dial.  I then took this bit apart and tried to manually find the position for de-foggle vents..  but no joy.  gave up and put it back together.

Is this common, or just something that went wrong with mine?  Could the unit be nackered?

I\'ve got the opposite problem, my heater only works on the windscreen or the feet vents, and nowhere else. No idea why, I just put up with being cold!

I think that "de-foggle" is my new favourite word of the day, though lol!

Just visualize driving down the road with Fogged up Ski Goggles or paintball goggles; w/towel in hand -  and you\'d be \'driving a mile in my shoes\'

There are three units behind the glove box.  Fan closest to door, cooling matrix in the middle, heater/vent actuator closest to the middle console ( actually creeping behind it.   There is a steel bar that moves as you change setting.  i.e. floor, middle, top.

It\'s this unit that causing our problem.  Not sure if it\'s a blocked vent or a \'buggered\' unit that needs replacing.

unlike you, I have to find a solution :(
