Does anyone know where I can buy some rear storage bins.
They came standard in Uk cars but are hard to find.
Is it just a straight forward swop??
Many thanks.

nikp

It is a straight forward swap if you have all the bits for the bins. The side panels are different.

I may have a complete interior for sale from a 98 RS-R edition very soon. Rear bins, Black leather recliners, side panels, carpets etc. Once I\'ve rebuilt the engine and stuck some other stuff on it I\'ll be doing a few test sessions and then deciding on a cage. If I stick the cage in then the full interior will be removed.

Do yourself a favour, if you convince yourself that drifting an FD is a good idea, sell the banana and pick up a ****ter for about £3.20 and rip that apart. Believe me when I say from experience that you will seriously regret essentially trashing a decent car :2Rolleyes

Well said Rich, exactly my sentiments. What a superb car to thrash.

I would really like to do that Rich but the overall cost just wouldn\'t make it worthwhile after what I\'ve spent on the banana and what I could get for it.
Looking at the market I could get a ****ter for say three or four grand which would need a rebuild which will be £1500ish if I do it myself, it would then be a grand for coilovers, a grand for intercooler/charge cooler and rad , hyda handbrake or whatever, then another grand for a single tub conversion, another grand for a decent cage, £500 for a bucket seat and runners, the list goes on. I reckon I\'d need to spend 8 grand to get a bdc/edc spec car and I\'m not likely to get much more than that for the banana even with a rebuild, esp as it will be a home done one anyhow. With the banana most of it is already there, just maybe a couple of grand for cage and coilovers. I just can\'t make the sums add up to make it worthwhile building a track going rex from fresh. I reckon I\'d only save a couple of grand, but would have several months worth of work before it was usable. It may still happen as I\'m looking about for another 200sx at the moment; I don\'t want to only have the Rex as a drifter, I\'d rather have something more thrashable for mucking around in. Any advice more than welcome as you guys have more experience of whats out there than me but I can\'t see its possible.
