Good Morning!

My car is going in to be painted on monday, and becuase of this I dont have time to fit its new pump + swirl pot.... So I wondered if for the time being its ok to run it around on the standard pump + aftermarket fpr with the new injectors (850 and 1680) until I get it back to fit the new pump...

I havent actually started it yet, but this should be this friday if it stops raining!

Ideally if possible, it would be great if I could run it in off boost on the old pump becuase I may have to move it long distance after I get it back from painting and I dont think I would have the chance to sort out the pump.

Cheers!

You will be fine using it in the short term, as long as you set the fpr to standard rail pressure (42psi) and keep off positive pressure.

If you really want to be super safe stick the stock ECU back on, wont rev very high but it will be safe
All the best Clive

Will that run with all the turbo stuff disconnected?  I havent put resistors into where the solenoids are connected because the apexi can handle it?

Or, are you saying that it wont rev very high because its just gonna go straight into limp mode ?

Can I run it in like that ?

Cheers,

If your car is very modified I personally would NOT stick the stock ecu back in, you would probably have a greater chance of boost spikes etc.
With the Apexi you can lower the rev limit and boost cut to make it sfe while you LIMP around OFF boost til its fixed.
I maybe wrong, but check it out. I know when running in a lot of tuners stop you boosting and reving via the PFC
