Can Somone please post a picture of and FD3 engine bay.. Close up around the battery and fuse box.. There is a thick wire coming out of the fuse box connected to the positive side of the battery that I cannot see where it goes? It either screws to the chassis or something else? I am assuming it would be live and hence not the chassis?

Also a picture of the pipe that comes from the turbo y-pipe into the airbox with the Control valve on it would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi, the positive from the battery doesn’t have a cable to the main fuse box, it\'s hard wired via the battery terminal. There is a positive cable that runs between the two fuse box\'s though as you can see in this pic. It is from the far side of the main fuse box i.e. via the 140 (I think) amp fuse. Ignore that my main fuse box hasn’t got the battery terminal attached as it\'s been removed for a battery relocation.

Perfect!!
That\'s the one! Nice clean looking engine bay... Just had a respray by any chance?!

Don\'t suppose you know where te wire from the sensor in the standard CAT pipe goes to? Goes inside the car and then where?? Can\'t find the other end!
Also what about the relief pipe from the turbo that goes into the airbox via a valve.

Thank s again

Its a heat sensor and the plug should be under one of the seats.

Thank goodness you posted that picture.

Re-assembling my car after engine swap, and that positive was loose! So I knew exactly where it went.
