fitting options for aftermarket buckets

I have got a pair of Recaro bucket seats, and have got a bride lowmax rail for the drivers side (bolts straight in, just misses the door, a little tight on the tunnel but not too bad, and around 2" lower; perfect really!)
Originally i was thinking of just getting some side mount rails for the passenger side and bolting it to the floor, but looking at it that is going to need drilling the floor plan, and maybe welding some strengthening plates around the holes- would this be required? the only other way i can see is to get another bride seat rail in from Japan which is looking to be around 150 quid once shipping is included- are there any other options?

what recaros are these? last time i checked even spgs touch door cards.

apex, same shell as spg. with the lowmax they just miss (as in you can get the seat belt between them, but not much else) it feels like it is rubbing a little on the tunnel as moving it forward and aft is a little stiff, but completely doable....
r.e. lowmax rails- bride drop the seat hight on these by having the center of the seat lower than the sides (think like a bowl) so the seats sit in the rail rather than on it. as such there isnt much to gain height wise by getting lowmax rails for non lowmax seats. however the Lf rail locks on both rails, and most of the others look like they only lock on one side, which surely cant be great if you are involved in a crash?

get a subframe from yahoo auctions japan! I got a proper recaro one on ther for mine, cost about £50 by the time all costs, shipping etc had been added!

ad a look at yahoo auctions and they are either base mount or cost the same as bride ones, looks like i may as well bite the bullet and order another bride seat rail from japan. may as well take the hit on shipping and get a couple of other bits and bobs as well....

theres some seat rails on ebay in north yorkshire ending in an hour from now? dunno if theyre suitable for what u need?

just had a look but unfortunately it is for drivers side, and i would have to get side mounts to fit on it as well. cheers for the heads up though! does anybody need anything from rhd japan and want to split postage?
