Help Turbo Problems!

hello lads,
i took my car out today and realised i didnt have boost untill about 5000 rpm asif the first turbo isnt workin? i am not sure about how the turbos work so any info you guys could give me would be great as im going to look into it tomorrow when there is light.

First place to be looking is the rats nest for leaks.
