Hi there everyone:wave , first post on this site. And to be honests it\'s a bit of a dumb question. But is it possible to convert an auto rx-7 to manual?

Spartacus

In a word, yes............but you might need to do a search to find out how

Jimmyc

Sorry made a rookie error and haven\'t done a search before posting, sorry all:rolleyes: .
If anyone has carried out an auto to manual conversion, how hard was it, and what was involved.
Cheers, James.

You will need:
Gearbox
Flywheel
Clutch
Peddlebox
Break servo
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch slave cylinder
Clutch lines
possibly ecu (I know the apexi\'s differ between auto & manual)
As a result of that you might need a manual wireing harness!!

This is off the top of my head!!
If you need the bits... my mate is breaking a 95 8bit ecu model & all these bits are still on the car!! it\'s in the for sale section!!

Brake servo? is the auto one different to a manual one?

The clutch system uses the same reservoir as the breaks, so i think the manual has an extra feed off the servo for the clutch!!

Ahhhh, my "ex" auto master cylinder has the outlet but it\'s blocked off so I don\'t think that would be a problem.
