Anyone have a pic of the standard fpr and where the vac hose attaches to? read its on the lim but i cant find it after going non-seq..

And the fpd vav hose connects to the pipe coming from the turbo, in my case the hks rs air filter pipe?

last 2 niggles i cant get ma head around :S

the fpr is screwed to the end of the secondary fuel rail in the LIM under the UIM just by the bulk head.  The there is only one obvious place for the vacume line to attach to. It can be attached to any boost source after the throttle body. ie, the little metal tubes poking out of the UIM.

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

going by the old pics i have it was conected to the black box rats nest n ma plenum has almost no nipples..

you can tee it off from somewhere or there are several nipples on the bulk head side of the t/b

what about off the y pipe? can i just ask does it work by boost pressure then? the more boost going through, it tells the fpr to let more fuel in :S?

I\'d imagine you\'d not want it off the Y Pipe as if you\'d shut the throttle, that would still be under pressure (boost) and the plenum would be under vacume meaning you\'d get far too much fuel thrown into engine.

I think!

as above,  it really needs to see vacum when you shut the throtle off which is why you put it after the TB

by TB do u mean throtle bodys or turbo lol..theres a nipple on the plenum facing the firewall just before the t body and elbow?

Shouldn\'t that be "after" the throttle body? (I\'m sure Tony means TB to mean Throttle Body).

But as along as it\'s somewhere on the plenum (or UIM) then it\'ll be fine.

as long as it delivers vacume and boost,  TB = throttle body.  there is no vacum between the turbo and TB ( butterflies) only boost.  you get vacume after the TB as the engine is sucking air and the butterflies are virtually shut hence the vacum.     (sorry if teaching to suck eggs)

Double check as IIRC there is one nipple on the side that isnt true vacume/boost,

You can start the car and double check without the fpr vacume connected, just dont drive it under boost.

ok iv attached the fpr vav hose to the lim nipple facing the firewall, from what iv read this is correct but cn someone plz double check for me cus i really dont want a blown motor :P
