OK, I\'ve searched through previous posts regarding fitting induction kits and there\'s some info explaining what has to be done BUT the whole \'plumbers nightmare\' of pipes, tubes and general scaryness has got me ever so slightly nervous in messing with the induction on my FD.

I\'ve got a Blitz twin-cone induction kit ready to go on but just wanted a bit of group therapy to give me the push in getting started with changing the OE stuff for the Blitz filters. :D

A few questions are:

1. Where to start removing the plasticware and piping?
2. Should I leave the plastic cowl at the front of the engine bay alone or should that come out as well?
3.  Do I need to block off any of the pipes?  (I don\'t have any dump valve....yet)
4.  Anything I need to watch out for.  The car\'s pretty much stock except for a Blitz cat-back.

So pretty much straight forward stuff but some guidance from one of you Rexperienced peeps would be great, and piccys would be fabulous :cool

I wanna run at the Pod on Sunday and I think it\'d be nice to have a bit more growl.

Cheers for any help

Not too difficult, fitted the Apexi tinw cone recently - took an hour or so.

1st you\'ll need a decent pair of expandable grip thingies to open up the spring clips that hold the hoses on to the air box.

After that it\'s just a case of removing the air duct that directs air to the intercooler and air box and undong the bolts and hoses for the air box.  Getting the hoses off it can be a real pain in the arse but it\'s realls simple once you get going.

You might need a spare pair of hands or some lockable grips (mole grip for example) as the spring clips are real b*ds!

Yeah, they\'re a pain in the butt! Replace them with jubilee clips, that\'s what i did!
