Id stick to the good ol formula... 235/35 up front and 255/40 out back...

J.j.

235/45/17 F, 255/40/17 R.
These are the tyre size on OEM 17" wheels.
Having said that, can someone tell me that why aren\'t they same width front n back like the 16" wheel cars?
FDs are 50/50 front and rear so why aren\'t we running same width tyres? Always thought only cars with rear bias weight distributions run wider tyres on the back, eg: elises, 430s, 911 ........
Think RE-A Touge car runs 255s are 265s all round.

reason i run the wider rears is because i dont want to change the steering weight by running wider ones up front but I do want a bit more rear end grip.

I run 235/45/17 on front, 265/40/17 on rear. Gives a nice sharp turn in and loads of back end grip. Also helps protect the rims a bit aswell. What rubber are you considering? Im currently on Falken FK452, would reccomend them to anyone, im very pleased with road and track handling. Hope that helps.
