My car is stuck blowing hot air (at least whenever the logicon unit is plugged in), and my basic attempt at resoldering hasnt worked (that said I dont really know what to look for / what connections normally break). Rest of logicon functions work fine.

Drat :) I think i have to be a fully paid up member to send messages. My resoldering attempt didnt work - I didnt manage to break anything extra, but the temperature slider is still stubbornly useless. Im guessing its that component itself thats broken.

Anyway, I will continue to be a cheapskate for a moment and ask that you PM me (if that is possible!)
