If you have one oil cooler on an FD, is it easy to fit the second from a model with 2 or is the single cooler different?
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

If it helps, mine have different fittings, but then again mine are on an auto.

From talking to re:worx, Clive and Carl about this (I\'m also underendowed in the oil-cooler department) it\'s simpler to get a full second-hand kit than try to DIY it  to maintain the correct flow accross them and achieve optimum cooling.

I was also looking at the possibility of just whacking a much larger cooler on and seeing how that goes...

Indeed it was that’s why I mentioned it.:Thumbs-up
Would it not be possible to run them in series but just using one of the internal thermostats to avoid problems with correct flow etc? I.e. one would cool a bit then the oil would be pumped to the next cooler where it would be cooled some more.

RemarkLima

Looks like the single is on the passenger side from the workshop manuals...
