Ok, the saga continues...

From the begginning:

Car failed to start after a drive to the lake district, got a tow home from the RAC.

Pip (WGT) sent me a standard ECU (I have Apexi) - put that in and it worked.

Sent Pip the Apexi - water ingress. Fixed and sent back.

Put the Apexi back in but car had been sat for 3 weeks with the alarm on.
Turned over but didnt start.

Called out the RAC - checked it - said battery. Used a booster - car started. I took it for a drive for an hour or so.

Next day car started but took about 14 turnovers to catch. Drove to work no air or blowers on, no radio on etc.

Tried to go home and car once again failed to start. Had a friend with a battery booster in his car. Connected it up - car started (driving fine btw - commander showing all well)

Took the battery out that night and put it on a charge with a mates industrial snap-on charger.

Got a lift to work the next day as I hadnt had time to put the battery back.

Came home - put battery in - car once again wouldnt start.

Posted on here..... figured duff battery.

I called an auto electrician who came round with a new battery. Checked mine and said it was fine. Tried the new one any way - still not starting.

Called Pip. He asked me to put the mazda ECU back in. Did this and the bloody thing started.

Now I am confused..... what would cause a battery booster to start the car when attached (with apexi installed) when it didnt need it with the original ecu?

Is there some load settings in the apexi I am not aware of or do I still have a screwy Apexi ECU?

Any thoughts anyone? I am presently working through it via the phone with Pip but any help would be apreciated.

Cheers folks.
