failed on emissions

and rear bush and brake servo leak and no rear fog lamp how the **** did it pass the last 2 years before i had it??

my main worry is how to lower the emmisions i have a straight trough exsaust and i dont think the air pump is linked up will that make alot of diffrence or do i need a cat how does everyone else get theres through???

gonna take it down to super 7 autos to get it sorted but i just dunno how the emmissions gets fixed?

Is it an FD? do you have an Apexi? i think it\'s possible to alter the settings to get through emmisions test, but don\'t know myself! yet,

uk car-after 92 full emissions test and without cat and airpump u are shagged
uk car pre 92 basic 3.5% co test
import up to 1995 basic 3.5% co idle test no lambda or fast idle test
import after 1995 full emissions test
even with apexi u can only get the emmissions to just under 3.5% a standard car will need the full monty or a very very good high flow cat might just do it or find a friendly mot tester which is how it would have passed the last 2 years on emmissions
very few mot testers know the rules and try testing the car as a uk car but imports do not appear on the database hence the 1995 rule

hiya folks... i just checked my 1994 import and the value is at 6% any ideas as it needs MOT so i can eventully get is registered.

lol iv yet to have a car mot`d and get the emmisions test done.. didnt think they bothered? i like my garage saying that they prep n run rally cars lol..
