latest is:

the ins comp valued the car at £5650
do £5500 in repairs.. obvious write off... I am gonna get them to up their valuation and then buy the car back from the....
so if I get 6k for the car I pay 25% of that value and get the rest in a cheque...

so I will have 4500 plus the car... to either swap in for a new one or get repiared with second hand parts.

didnt know the panels were so expensive...

front bumper 711
bonnet 638
right front wing 217
fron panel 608
oil cooler 626

plus loads of other bits...

watch this space... if you ave nothing better to do!!!

D1 WTF

what you could pay in second hand parts assuming they were standard
front bumper £30-70
Bonnet £20-150
right wing £20-50

get my drift
IF YOU DIDN\'T CARE YOU WOULDN\'T BE LOOKING

yeah....

I can see if I get the right payout I might even make a few quid into the bargain...

I have sent andrew at jimmys the estimate report... al 6 pages of it, so he can take a look... havent really used tyhem before... a few parts, but they seem to give good service so far.

also asked him to send me a few more pics on the silver one he has for sale at the mo, as I might be the next owner....

I was driving down the M5 a couple of hours later than this on Friday. I didn\'t see you but the weather was absolutely atrocious. It felt like we were driving through a puddle constantly (you know that feeling when you drive through a pool of water and the car feels like it\'s being pulled back?). I was glad we\'d taken the A2 rather than my RX. R888s in that weather would have been lethal!

unluky mate, glad to hear ur alr8, was supposd to be out on friday, saw d rian, ran back insyd, thought no way in hell im drivin the rx.. nyway £1900 for the repairs! Thats mad, from the parts you need sounds like its lyk the damage i had on my rx when i bought it. and i got it repaired for just under £700. Where abouts do you live? if you decide to buy it back i can help out on saving costs.
