power fc on an auto

Can a power fc be used on an automatic fd and if so is it a straight plug in and map or do any other alterations have to be carried out. Sorry if a silly question but i know from when i had the skyline the auto boys had to use an e-manage as the power fc wouldn\'t work .

Yes and No.  In mine (1992 Model) the gearbox reports a fault when you rev over around 4000rpm so you loose the hold function, and a remap gave me a bit more power which ruined my auto box so I had to get a stronger one.

I dont think the Apexi can relay all the required signals to the gearbox ecu.

Apart from that im not having any more issues. :Thumbs-up
