Phantom Grip LSD conversion kits

Hi people,while doing my daily ebay peeping,i came across a device i have no ideas about-the above mentioned lsd kit.Has anyone had any experience of these,i\'d never heard of them until today?Maybe an lsd won\'t be so difficult to come a cross after all...Apparently,they fit many cars;from the list,i remember rx-3s as well.

I think its some sort of device that sits between the half shafts on the standard diff ... not really sure if they work properly or whether its another gimmicky type of thing.

looked to me like a diff lock.that would only be any good for dragging:(
